From what I heard this book now turning into a movie is about a group of people trying to kill God. I've also heard the author of the book wrote this in response to CS Lewis's, the Chronicles of Narnia. I've also heard that the author is a hardcore atheist.

Now you're probably expecting me to be all up in arms about this seeing how I'm a Christian, but you know what, I'm not. In fact I think it's important that the entire Christian community doesn't oppose this movie or make a big deal about this. You want to know why? Cause that's just what the author is expecting, I bet he loves to see Christians make a huge deal out of this and be outside of the movie theaters protesting this, but I think it's very important that we treat it like any other movie. Why? You didn't see Atheists protesting outside the movie theater when Narnia came out did you? I didn't think so, so for the love of God, quit making a big deal out of this because it's this sort of thing that gives Christians the reputation that it has. I really don't like to be grouped in with those people who stand outside the movie theaters protesting movies that are apparently "atheist propaganda." Quit making a big deal about it, you're not helping anyone.
