I don't want to tell the exact description here since this concerns someone who could still be visiting my dA page and looking at my artwork. This is one of the most religious pieces I've done to date so if you want to read the whole description, go here.
Hope you like this and I strongly advice you to read the description if you want to know more about my "religious experiences" as of late. Thanks, and make sure to check out Konvulse's entire pack: Faith.
Its a beautiful piece, though I personally prefer my interpretation than the actual description.
I don't see why you can't still be friends with someone just because they don't belive in god. My best friend believes in god while I don't and that has never caused an issue between us. You just have to accept that its their decision.
Well I guess you could say this was more of an art therapy piece. Sometimes it's good to do art to get over something, even if it isn't completely resolved because it helps clear thoughts and what not.
At the time, well there was just more to it than not being a friend because he didn't believe in God. I guess there is just a fine line between being someone's friend and caring for them, and being his friend was the hardest part after everything that happened. It's kind of like how couples might break up because they know they aren't doing any good being together, so they break up out of hope that each one of them finds what they're looking for. I care about him, but sometimes being friends isn't the best way of showing someone they care. Kindness in love comes in many forms, and that's something we all got to learn to understand
Wow this is great...It's awesome to know that there's another artist on DA that's a christian who'd unashamed of expressing their feelings about God and their faith. Beautiful colors and shapes...AWESOME!!
This is really, truly beautiful. Both the meaning and the image represented. I really think your concept fits very well with the form that this piece took. It's inspiring to see others actually vocalize their faith in their work, I still struggle to do that. I'm still so very afraid to say what some of my works really mean to me; while most think it's just about happy shiny things, I'm afraid to say what I really want to say with them, and for doing that straight up, I really respect you.
Also it is so hard to find a good friend who truly shares the same beliefs as you, and even harder to deal with them turning away from it. Personally I have not been able to find anyone in school lately who i could connect with at all, and it has been making my work very stagnant, not having everyday conversation, inspiration, or others just to share experiences with.
I'm inspired to see this piece and your reconnection with God, and I hope someday I have the guts to make work that speaks as loudly, too.
Thank you very much for the comment, it's been a while since I've gotten one as good as this one lol. I'm curious, are you a Christian? I'd love to have a chat with you sometime
